DIRECTIONS TO HARRIS COUNTY COURT COMPLEX FROM I- 59 NORTH

Take IH 59 South and exit I-10 West. Stay to the right on I-10 and take the first exit, marked San Jacinto/Fannin. Follow the access road under the freeway and into downtown. San Jacinto will become Fannin, which is one-way into downtown. The Family Law Center will be on your left at the intersection of San Jacinto and Congress, at 1115 Congress. There is a parking garage directly across the street on San Jacinto, on your left just before you get to the Family Law Center.  If you miss it just go around the block. The Civil Courthouse is at 201 Caroline. From Fannin turn left onto Franklin  and the Civil Courthouse will be two blocks ahead on the right. There is an additional parking garage at the corner of Fannin and Congress.

If I-10 is unusable stay on IH 59 and exit to the right onto Jackson, which is also marked “all downtown exits.” At the first traffic light turn right onto Commerce. From Commerce turn left onto LaBranch and the multi-story parking garage that is immediately behind the Harris County Civil Courthouse will be on your right at the corner of LaBranch and Franklin. The Family Law Center is within walking distance at 1115 Congress, on the corner of Congress and Fannin. If you stand on the front steps of the Civil Courthouse you will see the Family Law Center about a block ahead on Congress on your right. 

Both courthouses use metal detectors.  All pocket knives, pepper spray, and anything else that might constitute a weapon will be confiscated.
